Blue Is of 1 Hour 57 Min. of Sheer Adrenaline
The much-awaited underwater action-thriller Blue is just 1 hour 57 minutes long. Commenting on the length of his film director Anthony (Tony) dâSouza said, âWe owe it to the audience to not bore them. Blue is long enough to tell its story interestingly, thatâs it. It is 1 hour 57 minutes of sheer adrenalineâ
Before flying off with Akshay Kumar to the Abu Dhabi Film Festival on Wednesday morning Tony was nervously mixing the Telugu version of Blue.
âWe decided to do Blue in a dubbed Telugu version because we got a good buyer. Though Iâm supervising the mixing the Telugu dubbing was done independently and the voices are nothing like Mr Dutt, Akshay Kumar, Lara Za! yed, etc.â
On Monday night Blue was screened for the first time for the cast and crew at Ad Labs. Stangely only Zayed Khan and Kabir Bedi from the cast showed up.
âThatâs because the rest of the cast was traveling. It was a last-minute decision to screen the film for the crew of Blue, â explains Tony.
Surprisingly the final running-time of Blue is just 1 hour 57 minutes. That, for a film featuring a topheavy starcast and an intricate underwater location, is a sure sign of restrain and brevity.
